We have considerable expertise in all production genres delivering a diverse portfolio of programmes on behalf of our clients.  From household TV shows such as the Masked Singer, Celebs Go Dating, Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice, to the English Football Premiership, 6 Nations Rugby, European Tour, FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championships, delivering HDR and 4K UHD: EMG has the right technical solution for any multicam production.  Our production crews are highly experienced and client focused.  In field or at base our people are our greatest asset and can be with you every step of the way.  Our fleet of vehicles are technically robust, flexibly designed and responsive to client needs as well as being fully equipped with the latest technology.

REMOTE PRODUCTION

Our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) is located at our HQ in High Wycombe, and features four separate production galleries, each with decentralised operational areas for EVS operations, Commentary and Graphics. All also have their own parking, access and welfare facilities, allowing each area to operate in its own secure bubble. Diverse 10gbps Tier 1 broadcast connectivity with BT Media & Broadcast provides 80ms latency for fully featured remote operations.

The success of the initial ROC has allowed us to invest further, and build similar facilities at Media City in Manchester for BBC Sport, and Stratford, London.

FIXED RIGS

We have unique expertise in providing fixed rigs for reality programming. Award-winning and internationally renowned programmes such as One Born Every Minute, 24 Hours in A&E and Channel 4’s First Dates have used our custom-designed ‘Reality Rig’ systems in installations that are capable of reliably working 24/7 for weeks on end.

We have fitted over 60 robotic cameras and countless mics to busy hospitals, police stations, hotels, and restaurants. In fact, we’ll fit cameras to just about any venue. It requires innovative and proactive planning whilst working in genuinely stressful environments that demand tact and a great deal of patience from our teams.

EMG’s crews led by our own Technical Managers have now successfully captured many series of these groundbreaking and award-winning programmes (RDF Tipping Point, One Born Every Minute, First Dates Hotel, First Dates) and our clients continue to return for the second series and new programme concepts.

SPECIALIST
SERVICES

Specialised services within EMG are provided by our Connectivity department and sister company ACS (Aerial Camera Systems). Both teams are leaders in their fields and work closely together to provide specialised camera, RF and aerial services within the group.
